Here’s my first post of 2009. I’ve been a bit busy but finally uploaded my Euro pics onto Fotki. Enjoy!
I’m excited for what the new year has to offer =)
Ciao.
My most favorite time of the year! Too bad I don’t have a Disneyland/Cuddle/Gift buddy haha MEH =/ Oh well, got my fam and friends to keep me busy.
We have a fake Christmas tree right? So I totally went to Lowe’s and took tree scraps to put in the house for the “Christmas Smell.” Wooha.
Random thought. Someone clicked on my blog by searching, ‘transgender model’ haha. Cool I guess =P
Europe T-2 weeks. Oh and this made my weekend. Maybe even my month.
Happy,
Kat
“Control yourself. Take only what you need from it.”
I realized that I eat a lot of Chinese food. Therefore I open a lot of fortune cookies. Most of the time the fortune really does apply to me.
Fortune of the Day:
Now ain’t that the damn truth?

Did anyone participate in the Shakeout? Meh. If it happens, it happens.
Although our choices do affect the outcome, I’m a strong believer in the whole “everything happens for a reason.” My closest friends know I did something selfish recently, but que effing sera =) What will be, will be.
On a happier note, Christmas is next month. As is Europe. Snow still has not arrived the way I want it to, but the weather is getting better. Also I’ve been waiting to hear word on something very important… I’ll let ya know when the time comes.
I’ll leave you with a glimpse of what I shall experience soon, so soon.
It’s official. Europe here I come =) Thought this was fitting for my mood…
Globetrotting,
Kat
Back from my short Canada work/vacay trip. It was nice being on my own for a little getaway. I got lucky too because they closed off the street and k-os and some other people performed. Yay. I’ll post stuff up later from the trip.
I like this. I want a penguin too Carlo!
So it’s offical, I’m going for my 2nd Japan trip and I’m super excited! If anyone wants to join, it’s not too late =)

So it’s almost over. We studied our asses off and it paid off in the end. We’re one of the few bootcamps in which all trainees passed! Wooha!
For the rest of training it’s all field prep. Crazy stuff. This past weekend was one big celebration. Driving range, batting cages, club, shopping, movie, church, and chiiiiiiiiiiilling. Good last weekend in Utah. Click. –> Utah: Week 4.
Almost time to go home. Weeeeeee!
P.S.
Liar liar pants are burning.

Homesick feelings have finally start to hit me. I miss my family, friends, dogs, church, the beach, and my guitar. This week has been tough and it’s only Tuesday. Yesterday was sad… really sad. Probably best I don’t publicly talk about it…
This past weekend was UTMD filled. Saturday was the Women’s Health Conference and the symphony in the ountains. Both were pretty cool. Check out the pics.
So two more weeks. This Friday is our test. *Crossing my fingers* Then it’s the REAL REAL world. Until then, it’s a lot of studying (game time), hotel food, and working out. I’m determined to get fit. To my readers, thanks… loveru. You give me a reason to write and share my stories.
I miss you Moval. It’s weird.
Your MedDevRep,
Kathleen.
Today was awkward. Lots of tension in the office. Alex and I came to the conclusion that this week was out of whack because we didn’t go to church on Sunday. Hopefully things will get better. So random side note, I never mentioned that out of the 5 new girl employees, 3 are named Liz. Weird huh?
Okay, going to ride this thing out for a few more weeks and push myself. Almost time to go home!

First of all, thanks to all those who greeted me on my birthday! Made it a little better to know people care.
So my first couple of weeks in Utah have been interesting. My parents came to visit and spent me and my dad’s bday here. Anyway, work has been pretty busy. It seriously feels like we’re studying for med school. It’s kind of refreshing to learn so much stuff, but it’s exhausting.
My Utah pics are finally online. Oh and had another Deuce encounter AND I’m 22 for a whole year. Excited to see what’s in store for me. Hopefully change will be for the better, in more ways than one.
Tomorrow: Vegas.
Birthday Girl,
Kat
Finally reached the weekend. Today was intense. We finished reading a book and had a test. Then they sat us down for 5 hours straight to read a binder full of articles. This job is going to be a challenge.
Working full time is serious. I get so tired by the time work is done I just want to sleep. Even my e-mail box is getting full. I used to check every mail box like 10 times a day. Atleast our “fun club” had a chance to hop in the hot tub last night. Tonight we hit up the town.
So my parents are in Vegas and are visiting for mine and my pop’s b-days. Sweet huh? I’m in need of some Moval faces so it should be nice. Alright… Vegas next weeeeeekendddd. homies.
Kali Kat.
So Utah is actually more fun than I thought it was going to be. Last night I went to Park City with Brian and his friends. It’s an awesome place full of cool bars and shops. It’s the area where they held the 2002 Olympics.
Today was the first day of work. We hopped into our whip, a DeVille. Super pimp. It was a long day filled with orientation and touring.
After work we went exploring. Went to Walmart, up Wasatch to the mountains, and Ballys (they gave us free membership). Had a Deuce incident. We were driving and a bus drove by. Destination: 222 South Street. Wee!
Okay, time for bed. My working ass needs to get up early. Goodnight =)
Real World Kat.
I’m here. It’s different…
The flights were horrible. I left Ontario around 10 am and the flight was so nauseating. I almost yakked everywhere… good thing I held it down. I had an hour lay over in Vegas. Enough time to lose $5 on the slot machines. Stupid airport slots are fixed.
Flight from Vegas to Utah was just as uncomfortable. Turbulence and a 2 year old right next to me. Let’s just say I’m left with a bruise on my nose and juice on my jeans.
Finally here at the hotel. Not a bad setup. Free breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Right now I’m going to go explore the town with B. Monzon. Seee yaaaa Cali.

Spring break was uh-mazing. Great times with great people. To sum it up, lots of beaches, food, shopping, scuba diving, surfing, luaus, clubbing, drinking, and then some.

Last night was the John Legend and Corinne Bailey Rae concert. Soooooo good.
And that’s that.
